The Education Bureau has provided each government-funded and Direct Subsidy Scheme secondary school in Hong Kong with a one-off grant of HK$200,000 to support the systematic implementation of school-based parent education. Schools may use the grant to organise structured parent education programmes and activities that equip parents with the knowledge and skills needed to support adolescents at different stages of development.

Under the Development of AI-empowered Education initiative, the Education Bureau expects schools not merely to introduce AI tools, but to develop students’ AI literacy and digital literacy so that they can apply, understand and evaluate AI-generated information.
EDU A.I.’s AI Self-learning Platform is designed for sustained use and curriculum integration, helping schools turn AI into an everyday learning resource for students.

Appropriate hardware infrastructure is equally important for putting AI learning and teaching into practice.
EDU A.I.’s SchoolMind is a dedicated AI infrastructure and school-based GPT platform that gives schools secure, flexible data sovereignty and helps them build their own AI capabilities. It supports school administration, teachers’ lesson preparation and students’ self-directed learning.
With systematic deployment, schools can establish a sustainable AI learning environment that grows with the curriculum, avoiding one-off purchases that are difficult to maintain.

When implementing AI education, many schools want a dedicated space where students can apply what they have learned and showcase their achievements to parents and other stakeholders.
EDU A.I. helps schools plan school-based AI Self-learning Centres that integrate software, hardware and learning activities in one environment. More than a showcase space, the centre supports AI exploration, self-directed learning and project-based learning.

Does your school have the resources but lack the time, manpower or technical expertise to integrate an LLM system effectively into teaching and the wider campus environment?

Our education AI specialists provide end-to-end support to ensure that every stage is implemented effectively. Simply select the right system and leave the rest to us.
No separate application is required. The Education Bureau has already provided each eligible government-funded and Direct Subsidy Scheme secondary school with a HK$200,000 One-off Parent Education Grant for implementing parent education programmes or activities according to school-based needs.
Schools may use the grant to procure structured or theme-based parent education programmes and activities from service providers, including workshops, seminars and online courses. The content must align with the philosophy and principles of the Curriculum Framework on Parent Education (Secondary School) and should be planned around the actual needs of the school and its parents. For example, schools may organise parent education activities to help parents understand how AI affects their children’s learning and development and how to establish healthy AI-use habits together.
Schools may use the grant across school years, but all funds must be used by 31 August 2027. Any remaining balance will then be recovered or withdrawn by the Education Bureau. Schools must also submit a report on the use of the grant by 30 September 2027.
