兩間中學在試用SchoolMind Grading及MyEd過程中的初步觀察

How can AI be truly integrated into daily school teaching? For many teachers, the key isn't just about "having AI tools," but whether these tools can genuinely reduce their workload, boost student engagement, and support more effective learning follow-ups.

With the launch of EDU A.I. MyEd Self-Directed Learning and Multi-Subject Online Assignment Platform and SchoolMind Grading AI Tool, we are currently conducting trials and pilot teaching sessions with various schools to understand how AI can meet their practical needs. Below are the preliminary observations from two secondary schools, offering insights into the potential applications of AI educational tools in both classroom and after-school learning.

Tsuen Wan Secondary School Trials MyEd: Supporting Self-Directed Learning for Junior Secondary Students

A secondary school in Tsuen Wan is currently piloting MyEd for junior secondary science and mathematics subjects, primarily for after-school autonomous learning. The school aims to encourage students to make good use of their spare time, allowing them to practice and challenge themselves independently after school.

In the past, even if students were willing to complete extra practice, teachers often lacked the time to grade and follow up on every assignment. With MyEd, students' independent work can be graded by AI, which then organizes performance data. This makes it easier for teachers to identify students' strengths and weaknesses, enabling more targeted instructional support.

Teachers particularly appreciate MyEd’s error log feature and class-wide progress reports. The system not only encourages students to practice consistently but also integrates with other LMS platforms to record learning data, helping teachers improve their instructional efficiency. Kwun Tong Secondary School Trials SchoolMind Grading: Helping Teachers Reduce Grading Workload for Assignments and Tests

Another secondary school in Kwun Tong is piloting the SchoolMind Grading AI tool, primarily for teachers to grade DSE-related assignments and tests in senior secondary Physics and Mathematics. The school hopes to use AI to handle routine grading, reducing the burden on teachers so they can dedicate more time to observing student progress and designing follow-up strategies.

During the trial, SchoolMind Grading helped teachers significantly reduce the time spent on routine grading and allowed them to filter out questions that required closer attention in test papers. For exercises or past papers completed by students, the system provides rapid grading and feedback, encouraging students to practice more while receiving more immediate learning support.

Teachers particularly appreciate SchoolMind Grading’s automated grading and scoring features, as well as its intuitive interface. The PDF import and export design also makes it easier for teachers to integrate existing workflows into the AI tool without needing to drastically change their established teaching habits. These pilot experiences demonstrate that the value of AI educational tools lies not just in being "new technology," but in their ability to genuinely address the daily needs of schools: helping students build autonomous learning habits, enabling teachers to grasp learning data more quickly, and reducing repetitive administrative and grading tasks.

EDU A.I. will continue to collaborate with schools to explore the application of MyEd and SchoolMind Grading across different subjects, grade levels, and teaching scenarios, helping schools gradually integrate AI into teaching, learning, and assessment.
